Book Reading
Life is a journey, and like a book, it's filled with chapters of adventure, love, heartbreak, and growth. Imagine your life as a never-ending storybook, with each chapter revealing a new adventure.
In the past, I was always afraid of reading lengthy books. Or sometimes, I was just tired of completing one with many lying on the shelf unfinished. Then one day, as I picked up the book, I mistakenly opened the last page as the book was upside down. Rather than change it, I said, I thought, “let me see how it ended.” And that was it; that was how I finished the book.
Curiosity escalates by feeling that the last pages give and the excitement created in those last pages. In this phase, there is the desire to find out what led to the outcomes in those last pages. From that, there is an eagerness to go back and read each page, with anticipation of the fantastic endings. In life, such things also happen. Hence, rather than giving up, look into the future, and visualize a good future life. If the end you see for yourself is the best you can imagine, nothing stops you from doing your best now, towards that future best of the best life.
Life from the Last Page: The Success Page
Perception and attitude are paramount irrespective of the status of life one currently has. Given the book of life, we need to have the right mindset to supplement our progress and growth. I always envision my life as successful, and with that, I know that the last page will be better than the first page. There is always that sense of getting better, personally, emotionally, financially, and goal-wise. The things we did yesterday are essential in contributing to our future selves, and as such, there is betterment in our status as we go forward.
Each day comes with its aspects, which can be challenging, and on other days, things are as good as we can imagine. Life is a book, and one can never compare to the other irrespective of the chapter and page one is at. You can only relate as you read the next pages of the book.
That is how sometimes life is. In one season, you might see things are working out to one’s best, and amazing things are happening. I say this is the season that I always look forward to, and it is what most people in the world desire. Then, there is that other season. Here, life can come to a standstill, and you feel there must be something wrong. As opposed to letting things go as they wish and becoming demotivated. Focus on the future and envision the end of the book. The ending has a fantastic sense in it, and if the end is that sweet, it becomes essential to do our best to make the other pages as best as we can manage.
The Start, The Middle, and Success Pages
A book is a book because of its outline encompassing pleasing sections, challenging sections, not so lovely to read parts, and those so impressive that one wishes the book does not end. In these sweet sections, there is the tendency to stop and keep enjoying the particular areas with no desire in moving onto the next page. Here, one can also wish to rewind and re-read the sections one more time. As it is happening in this book section, things are so lovely, and there is the tendency to remain in this niceness forever. Do not rest; flip the page and move to the next.
As we move through life, when there is a season of happiness, it becomes helpful to enjoy what is happening and not forget to remain prepared and steadfast for what will come. Life will be more enjoyable through the adventures that come in the next pages instead of dwelling on the current flourishing season and page. In this fantastic world, finding the right balance and capitalizing on one of the weaknesses one might exhibit is pivotal. Today comes with its openings, and tomorrow might be something different. Hence, rather than settling for today’s joyful season, looking forward and doing our best in the coming days is beneficial.
And Finally: Continuous Improvement
Progression is essential if one meets their life goals and accomplishes their identified purpose. However, there are the selected few who have a problem identifying what their life goal is, and this sometimes becomes frustrating. As such, becoming self-aware is useful a this will help you get to know yourself better and understand what makes you feel terrific within. In addition, there is a need to be open-minded and try the fantastic things that exist around the wider globe. This is something called having a bias for action. As opposed to settling, keep trying things and doing your best in what area you find. You never know how things might turn out, and you become the best of the best. In this same scope, we thus fund our purpose aligned with our actions, from reading the first page to the middle pages and finally, the fulfillment of understanding your life purpose.
The need to do one’s best is an all-around aspect. Whether it is the personal stuff in one’s life or across other areas in one’s job, keep going. And if we can decipher our purpose, there is a better sense in us that guides our actions. Given the need to be better than our yester-selfs, using what we have to improve becomes useful. The book shifts from average to the most remarkable pages one step at a time.
Keep reading the Book, then put it down, and write your own.
Life is a book, with each chapter bringing new experiences, make sure to turn each page with intention and purpose, savoring every moment before it becomes a memory.
